10X10K Cuba, International Call to Innovation for Cuban Entrepreneurs

The Cuba Emprende Foundation, Cuba Now, and Startup Angels, are partnering on a startup competition where 10 selected Cuban participants will have the opportunity to win 10,000 USD each in products and services. The contest was announced today at AngelSummit Americas event, in Miami.

The applicants will have the possibility to submit their applicatioms from May 16th through July 15th, 2016, and the results will be announced on October 1st.

This contest represents a major opportunity to boost Cuban entrepreneurs who are already demonstrating to have creative ideas and products in a place where access to hardware, software and other resources are hard to find.

Important names are sponsoring the event, such as EMC, Dell, Rackspace, 500 Startups, TechStars, Stanford University, and Boomtown.
