UCI, 3rd University on the ranking in Latinamerica when it comes to Free Software

This ranking on Free Software development is raised every year. Universities from Spain and Latin America are among the institutions included.The ranking is made to measure the importance given to creating and distributing such programs in the different centers.

RuSL 2016 is already available and among the universities joining the Top 10, according to the Hipertextual.com site, we find the University of IT Sciences (UCI), Cuba, occupying a honoring third position.

UCI was not included in this list in 2015 and it counts now with a 48.8% of implementation, scores 59.18% co-organizing more free software events and exhibits the 5th major culture in this kind of technology.
